24 year old Australian, Alex Cudlin, will be making his Grand Prix debut in a few weeks time at Round
16 of the Moto 2 World Championship, held in Australia at Phillip Island.

The current Superstock World Endurance Championship leader confirmed his wild card entry whilst
in Spain on the weekend.

Alex will line up on the grid against some of the fastest riders in the world, riding the Blusens-STX
BQR machine.

"To be told I’ll be racing in a Grand Prix event is a bit surreal. Obviously this will be the biggest
race of my career, so it’s extremely exciting for me. It won’t be an easy race, as the first time I’ll
get to ride this particular bike will be in the first practice session at the event, but I’m going there
confident of finishing with a good result."

"It's been 5 years since I last raced a 600 and rode at Phillip Island, but I know the circuit and to be
making my Grand Prix debut in front of my family and fans is really special."

The Moto 2 Grand Prix Championship is in its inaugural year and has been marked as one of the
most exciting and close racing formats in 2010. The Moto 2 championship has travelled around
the globe from Europe, America, and Asia and will mark its first time racing on Australian soil.

"I really don’t know what expect for the race. I'll be racing many World Champions, so I’m looking
forward to seeing how I go. "

"Obviously this experience wouldn’t be possible without my World Endurance Championship
team, QMMF, allowing me to do this. The biggest thanks must go to them. They have given me a
wonderful opportunity which may be a further stepping stone for my racing career"
said a beaming
Cudlin.
