Well with lots of waiting and rumors. Finally the list of 20 "permanent" teams entered for the full season of the QTEL Endurance FIM World Championship has been announced today by the FIM.

Many suspected a few rider changes and team line up and both of these have happened. Of course the riders may change teams before the start of the WEC season. But all the same, it’s a good measure as to what the competition will be in 2008.

What's New?

Spanish team YMES Folch Endurance Yamaha (Ribalta, Valcaneras, Perez) have signed up for the full season, and MV Agusta have finally entered a team with Sebastien Scarnato, Patrick Piot and Luca Scassa, riding for the Midi Pyrennees Racing Team. Team World Endurance Kawasaki is a new name and a new bike for the team formerly known as Suzuki Sweden, with Andersson, Notman and Gustavsson.

. Diablo 666 list Gary Mason with James Hutchins and myself

· SERT are unchanged, with Philippe, Lagrive and Da Costa on a GSX-R1000.

· Yamaha Austria will field Jerman, Cudlin and Steve Martin.

· Endurance Moto38 return with Millet, Brivet and Gantner.

· Phase One have confirmed Richards to ride alongside Nowland and Pridmore.

· Bolliger Kawasaki stick with Morillon, Muff, Saiger and Mizera

· QERT are now "Qatar Endurance Racing Team (International Junior Team)"

New Classes

The entrants are now divided into two classes; EWC for the SuperProduction machines competing for the Endurance World Championship and STK for the SuperStock bikes entered in the Endurance World Cup.
